Meet Ilise, the woman behind Your Roots Are Showing, a film set for release in 2024. She believes the silver hair acceptance movement  and the influence of the silver sister community is part of a cultural shift that is redefining what makes a woman beautiful and relevant.  The pandemic put a distinct marker on the timeline of fashion/beauty history and allowed/forced many women to ditch the dye. She made this documentary to explore this defining time that often has deep roots for the individual as well as the collective. They've assembled a patchwork of voices to form a chorus. This film is an ode to her own evolution, and a footnote to a long career as a makeup/hair artist.  

Meet Holly, a registered representative with Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. a Broker/Dealer and Member FINRA/SPIC. Holly began her career as a financial Advisor in 1993 with Bank of America Investments. After a very successful fourteen years at Bank of America investments, she had an opportunity to move to Colorado. In early 2008, Holly decided to go independent and start her own firm.

Today, her mission is to eliminate the “intimidation factor” around money and investments. She believes using gobbledygook “jargon” with people about their money just adds to their feeling that they don’t know what they’re doing. She is lit up by helping people change their quality of life. People have expressed they never understood investments until they met Holly. This comes from her ability to teach and find the right way to explain the complexities of investing to make them understandable to anyone. 

Immersed in the regenerative food space, Sherry has donned many hats within the industry. Her local and organic culinary arts expertise and healing food journey has carried her through the roles of spice blend manufacturing, restaurant management, Executive Chef and product development for Oncobitez nutrition bites for cancer patients. Her most recent work within the ReNourish community has fueled her desire to elevate conversations about creating a more regenerative food industry through the language of flavor. She sees this simple connection as a powerful way for consumers to shift our food system while improving and somatically understanding their individual health. Meet Lynne, a Certified Life Coach, Professional Weight Loss Coach, and Author. She began her career by hitchhiking thru life in the 70’s and capturing the turbulence and rebellion of the love generation, during the Vietnam war. A common thread throughout her life has been journaling and writing. Lynne has always had a career in the health industry, first as a personal trainer, and last as a successful weight loss coach with Metabolic Research Center. 2 years ago Lynne experienced a significant physiological shift and as it unfolded she developed a step by step plan for helping healthy adults prepare for and recover from life altering health changes.

Through Advice From L, Lynne published her first book, and currently teaches Journaling Techniques in small group session or  offers one on one coaching for vital adults making health transitions. (ie: total joint replacement, parkinsons diagnosis, managing essential tremors, and ProAging with Joy.) Lynne’s  motivations are to help those who are managing the new experiences that arise with aging to find encouragement, hope, healing and joy, through self exploration and discovering new ways of Being. A native Coloradoan, she's a fan of healthy beautiful food and a good Cabernet. 

Karen is a financial consultant/advisor with North Star Resource Group, an independent financial services firm with 42 offices throughout the nation. She has advocated for professionals in construction, manufacturing, professional services, and technology for several decades, and her Midwest roots in a family-owned business are the foundation of her “it’s not how much you make, but how much you keep” mindset. Being a “women business owner specialist,” Karen focuses on relationship-based, comprehensive financial planning for women business owners aged 45 and older. However, while she focuses on
this specific group, she welcomes anyone interested in learning more about their finances. Women business owners have similar needs for risk management, investment management, tax-efficient strategies, and employee benefits but unique needs for long-term care and estate planning. This necessitates a tailored approach to financial planning, which Karen provides. Outside her practice, Karen enjoys working with numerous communiyty organizations as well as various hobbies and recreations, including gardening,  golfing, rooting for her favorite NFL Teams, crafts, softball, and traveling internationally. She has been married for over 30 years and has three marvelous daughters who keep her family laughing together and active.

In 1986, She started her radio career at a classic rock station in Oceanside, CA doing overnights (midnight to 6a) She moved to Colorado in 1988 and has been up and down the radio dial in Northern Colorado, on many different stations, day parts and formats for the past 38  years. She's worked in commercial radio the majority of her career and currently runs a morning show on Pirate Radio 93.5 FM, a local community radio station in Fort Collins.

She's spoken on stages, introduced bands, hosted live broadcasts at events, written, edited, voiced and produced commercials. In her current position, she also does sales, and a lot of networking! Over the years, she's learned how to be comfortable and confident in any setting and wants to share what she's  learned to help others feel confident too. Let's master your message!
